Meet the team
After two decades of public service to the State of Oklahoma in various positions (child welfare worker, probation and parole officer, and lawyer), founder Sheri M. Johnson chose to bring her experience directly to the people who need it most. Phoenix Law was born from both professional expertise and a personal commitment to justice, resilience, and meaningful change. As a former Assistant Attorney General, Sheri litigated high-stakes criminal appeals, gaining a reputation for clear, persuasive legal writing and unflinching advocacy. Her transition into private practice reflects her belief that the law should serve people first. Sheri’s approach is straightforward: listen carefully, explain clearly, and fight tenaciously.
Sheri M. Johnson
Founder
Sheri earned a Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law, a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Missouri, and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a Psychology minor from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is admitted to practice before all Oklahoma state courts, the United States District Courts for the Western, Eastern, and Northern Districts of Oklahoma, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
